Father God, once
again, we thank you for your continued love, grace, and mercy that you pour out
upon all people of all nations. Father,
please send relief unto those who have already endured the presence of Hurricane
Matthew, and continue to protect those of us that are about to still
endure. Father, let us not forget that
you are in control of the storm always and we shall not fear that which is of
this world. Father, give us
understanding that it’s by your strength and might that we stand within thy
presence and glory having the ability to endure all things that this perverse
world throws at us. Father, help us to be
a witness to others around us, filling us with thy words and wisdom from thy
Holy Scripture and thy Spirit. Father,
help us to walk upright always in thy perfect will being lead of thy Spirit. Father, may we continue to be a blessing to
others, and put the welfare and care of others before our own always. Father, forgive us for our weaknesses and
sinful ways as both a people and a nation.
Help us to continue to grow in thy perfect will through the movement of
thy Spirit within us always. Father, may
we continue to give you all thanks, glory, honor, and praise in all our ways
this day and forevermore. In Jesus’
precious name we pray. Amen.
